Assistance for passengers with disabilities or reduced mobility
If you are a passenger with reduced mobility or a disability, you may request assistance when booking or at a later stage by contacting the ITA Airways Assistance Team from Italy no later than 48 hours before the scheduled departure time. Submitting an assistance request in advance to the operating carrier allows the airline to better assess the type of passenger requiring assistance (in order to ensure safety) and to monitor the availability of designated seats on board for passengers with disabilities or reduced mobility which, in accordance with EU regulations, cannot exceed a limit that varies depending on the type and configuration of the aircraft.
Please note that if the flight is operated by a third party airline company, some assistance services (e.g. wheelchairs on board) may not be available, or may be deferred.
